24 years at Manchester Road Surgery has flown by!
I have loved working at Manchester Road Surgery, but the time has come for me to leave.
It has been wonderful being your G.P. over the years. The best thing I have found about being a G.P. is the relationship with the patient. Not only working to improve your health but the fun, friendship and wisdom you have given me has brought me joy. It will be sad to leave you all. I am thankful that my faith in God has given me wisdom and stamina in assisting people with their lives.
I have worked with such an exceptional staff team who are dedicated, efficient and supportive. I know that I am leaving the Practice in the safe hands of the staff and doctors.
So what next? I know that I am too young to retire so I would like to use my skills doing relief work at home and abroad, funded by locum work. My wife Rachel and I are also planning to do medical teaching abroad with www.prime-international.org.
If you would like to say goodbye, I would love to see you for Afternoon Tea on Thursday 29th August 2-4pm at Manchester Road Surgery.
My last day at Manchester Road Surgery is Friday 31st August 2019
Thank you and God bless you all
Dr Andrew Marshall
