The Patient Participation Group – Established by Manchester Road Surgery in 2012
Whilst the group remains largely virtual, the group does meet at least once a year face to face, and the practice manager emails the group when necessary to raise awareness of any changes. Comments by letter or telephone are also accepted.
The focus of the group is to maintain and aid communication between the practice and its patients, and to increase patients’ understanding of the wider issues in the NHS and how they relate to local needs.
As a GP surgery trying its best to meet the needs of the patient population, it is important that the patients involved in this group are committed to the surgery and in helping us to improve. Constructive criticism is of course welcome.
If you are interested in joining or simply want further information, please contact the practice manager Gemma Scarrott or send an email to SYICB-Sheffield.manchesterrdsurgery@nhs.net
