We offer the following services delivered at various times by both staff directly employed by and those attached to the surgery.

  • Chronic disease management for Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Heart disease.
  • Smear tests
  • Ante natal: Wednesday afternoon by appointment
  • Baby clinic: Tuesdays for eight week assessments and vaccinations with the practice nurse and GP, by appointment.
  • Ear syringing
  • Anticoagulation monitoring
  • Counselling
  • Blood pressure clinic
  • Spirometery
  • NHS health checks
  • Physiotherapy
  • Medication review clinics

Other Services

In addition to general medical services the practice can offer advice on a number of specific health matters.  For example, advice prior to pregnancy, ante natal care, advice about contraception and dealing with the menopause.

Minor Surgery

Selected minor surgical procedures can be performed at the surgery, helping to avoid hospital referrals and out-patient visits.

Psychological Therapies

Trained therapists hold regular clinics at our practice  – they can help if you have experienced any of the following:

  • Depression or low mood
  • Worry or anxiety
  • Anxiety with depression
  • Panic or phobia
  • Obsessive compulsive disorder
  • Bereavment
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Life adjustments

Travel Vaccinations

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.
